Government of Assam is organizing its maiden Global Investors’ Summit – ADVANTAGE ASSAM on 3rd & 4th February, 2018. The Summit is aimed at promoting Assam as India’s Expressway to ASEAN and will showcase the economic and manufacturing strength of Assam. Hon’ble Prime Minister has kindly consented to inaugurate the Summit.
The state has undertaken a number of initiatives in the recent past towards implementation of ease of doing business framework, creating an enabling policy framework and development of state-of-the-art Industrial Infrastructure to facilitate companies set-up and do business in the State. Assam’s rapidly growing economy, strategic location and strong connectivity network, makes it the ideal staging point for doing business with the ASEAN and BBIN Countries.
